Chinese per-capita fluid milk consumption has increased year by year. However, it is still far behind the figure in other countries. As for different sectors of fluid milk, the UHT milk market accounts for more than 70% of the market share and has become a mature market with a low growth rate. High-end product is a potential opportunity in this sector. In contrast, though the pasteurized milk’s market share is relatively low, it has become a new trend pursued by both companies and consumers.
